Confirming and Changing User Profile

The information of the user who is currently logged in can be confirmed on the [User Profile] window. The following information can be confirmed on the [User Information] area.

Viewing or changing [Mail Address], [Language], [Time Zone], [Subscriptions], [X.509 Certificate], and [Digest Mail Delivery] may not be allowed depending on the settings of the Portal Administrative Application.

The user can also change his or her password in the window.

The setting whether or not ActiveX control is used can be confirmed or changed on the [Customize Window] area.

Confirming and changing the user profile

Operation
  1. Click the link of login user name in the [Portal] window.
    The [User Profile] window is displayed.
  2. Confirm the name displayed in [Username].
    This item cannot be changed.
  3. Change the e-mail address in [Mail Address] as needed.
  4. Select the language licensed to the current logged-in user from the [Language] pull-down menu as needed.

    The pull-down menu contains licensed languages only.

  5. Select the time zone used by the logged-in user from the [Time Zone] pull-down menu as needed.
  6. If need be, select "ON" or "OFF" from the [Mail Notification] radio buttons.
  7. Regarding X.509 certificate, perform either of the following steps as needed.
    When registering an X.509 certificate:

    When no X.509 certificate has been registered, the input field for registration and the [Browse] button are displayed.

    1. Click the [Browse] button and select the certificate file. Go to the next step.
    When deleting an X.509 certificate:

    When an X.509 certificate has already been registered, the information on the registered certificate and the checkbox for deletion are displayed.

    1. Mark the [Delete Certificate] checkbox and go to the next step.
  8. Confirm the delivery time of the digest message shown in the [Digest Mail Delivery Time] as needed.

    When unset, time is not displayed. The digest message will be delivered at 0:00.

  9. Regarding the password, perform either of the following steps as needed.

    Passwords may not be changed depending on the settings of Resource Management Application.

    When changing the password:
    1. Enter the new password in [New Password].
    2. Enter the new password in [New Password (confirm)] again.

      Enter the same password in both textboxes. If the both entries do not match, an error occurs when clicking the [Change] button.

    When not changing the password:
    1. Go to the next step leaving [New Password] and [New Password (confirm)] blank.
  10. When it needs to be changed, you need to select "Use" or "Do not use" by using the [ActiveX Control] radio button.

    You may not be able to change the ActiveX control depending on the setting of Resource Management Application.

  11. Click the [Change] button.
    The [Confirm Password] dialog box is displayed.

    The [Confirm Password] dialog box may not be displayed depending on the settings of Resource Management Application.

  12. Enter the current password in [Password].
  13. Click the [OK] button.
    A message is displayed telling you that the user profile has been changed.
  14. Click the [OK] button.
